The choir, the oldest group and founders of our club, and the Hauskapelle will be performing at the Newark Maennerchor’s Ox Roast on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The choir will perform at 1:30 pm. The Hauskapelle will perform from 3:15 to 4:30 pm and again from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
There will be music starting at 12:30 going throughout the whole day until closing time. Choirs will be singing and bands playing; German food and bier will be plentiful. So come to Newark on the 15th to support a sister club, the Germania choir and Hauskapelle, and have a great time!
The event also includes children's activities and a yodeling contest (with prizes) after the music presentations at 4:30 pm. Children are invited to compete in the contest as well. The Yodeling Club will perform a musical presentation following the contest.
There is no admission charge to attend. The Newark Männerchor is located at 195 W. Orchard St., Newark, Ohio.
