It's Friday night during Lent: do you know where your local fish fry is? Well, on February 16th it's at Germania! The kitchen brings you a Wisconsin culinary tradition of a Lenten Fish Fry.
The kitchen will be preparing Wisconsin styled Beer Battered Fish again this year and Haus-made Coleslaw, Mac and Cheese and Seasoned Tater Tots and fresh Marbled Rye Bread too. There will also be New England Clam Chowder available and a German dessert for purchase too.
The bar will be featuring on draft Korbinian Doppelbock from Weihenstephan. This beer is named after Saint Korbinian to honor the founder of the Weihenstephan monastery. This is an über rare beer on draft in Ohio and the first time it will be on tap at Germania.
Lent starts on Ash Wednesday on February 14th which is also St. Valentine's Day as well, so don't forget your sweetheart this year. Bring your sweetheart, loved ones and friends to the first Friday Night Fish Fry on February 16th at Germania.
