Weinverein - A taste of Italy! (24 Apr 2026)

A Taste of Italy!

Edgard Cancelmo of Ethica Wines will be presenting wines from four of Italy's wine regions. We'll also be tasting six wines at this tasting!

Edgard, who was born in Atessa, Abruzzo, Italy and has been in the Hospitality industry for many years will be presenting the wines. He has worked in London, Florida, Switzerland, New Zealand and now Columbus, where he is the sales manager for Ethica Wines.

We'll be having a Prosecco Rose from Veneto, Pinot Grigio from Trentino, Arneis Langhe from Piemonte, Irrosso Toscana from Toscana, Nebbiolo Langhe from Peimonte and Brolio Chianti Classico from Toscana.

The cost for this tasting will be $30.00 for members and $35.00 for Non-members. (We'll be tasting 6 wines this evening.)

Please join us for some great wine, food and gemütlichkeit!

Radfahrverein (Bicycle Club)

This will be our first ride of the season. On Sunday, April 26, we will begin at the Three Creeks Metro Park off of Bixby Road. We’ll ride west/north along the Alum Creek trail. We’ll meet at 12:45 p.m. and leave at 1:00 p.m.

The ride is open to all riders, no matter your skill level or type of bike you ride. We are there to ride with others, enjoying their company and enjoying the outdoors while we do it. Hope to see you there. If you have any questions, please contact me at 614-496-3443.

Zentral Ohio Sänger Bezirk Open Rehearsal (27 Apr 2026)

Can't make it to Texas or the Kaffee Konzert next month? Come to the last, full Zentral Ohio Bezirk (District) rehearsal before our choirs leave for the National Sängerfest in San Antonio next week! We'll have about 70 singers in the Sport Hall, putting the finishing touches on their music.

The bar will be open, so grab your favorite beverage and a seat in the dining hall, relax, even bring a book if you want, and enjoy your own mini-concert of German traditional music.

Bier Kameraden Meeting & Party (9 May 2026)

Eurovision Song Contest Viewing (16 May 2026)

Eurovision Song Contest Watch Party

This year's Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Vienna, Austria, and the finals are scheduled for 16 May 2026.

The Scandinavian Club of Columbus will be co-hosting a viewing party for the final event in conjunction with Germania and the Columbus Maennerchor.

The delayed televised viewing will take place at the Germania. The program will start around 2:00 p.m. and the singing will start around 3:00 p.m.

There will be a cash bar, and those in attendance can bring food or snacks for themselves and or to share with the groups.

More information will follow as we get closer to the date. Please put this annual event on your calendar.
